USA Disciplinary Rules and Procedures
Note: These rules and procedures set forth on this page are only for games in which a red card has been issued.
Referee's responsibilities:
Referee is to mail the game report, rosters, guest player forms and the supplemental report (if applicable) to their appropriate Referee Assignor. These reports should be received by the Monday following each game and/or within 48 hours of a game played during the week.
PASSES WILL NOT BE RETAINED.
It will be the the Referee Assignor's responsibility (once paperwork is received from the Referee) to notify the Disciplinary Vice President within 48 hours of the game, of any ejection.
Team Official's responsibilities:
Each Team Official must notify the Disciplinary Vice President, when any player or coach from their team receives a red card. You must notify the appropriate Vice President of the League within 48 hours of the completion of the game, by one of the following ways:
1. E-Mail notification to the appropriate VP
2. Mail notification to the appropriate VP
Game scores are to be reported via phone or email to Age Group Coordinator by Monday, 8 pm.
Coaches can view Red Card violations and status of suspensions on USA Red Card website, Redcard Status.
Each Coach must make certain that a suspended player/team official serving a suspension is noted properly on the Game Report, prior to signing the report.
Any discrepancy should be noted on the report, if not corrected by the Referee, to the satisfaction of the Coach.
A player or team official receiving a Red Card will not be eligible to play until all games required to be served are posted on the USA Red Card website.
A suspended player or team official is not eligible to participate until the Disciplinary Vice President can verify that the suspension has been met and then the passes will be returned.
